What you’ll be doing:

  • As the Area Manager you will provide effective and inspiring leadership of Wales and be accountable for the operational performance, management, delivery and development of Potens activities. 
  • The role involves a high level of planning, influencing and delegation to ensure decisions made are aligned to Potens’ strategy and have a positive impact on Company performance. 
  • You will understand and uphold the principles of Potens Aims, Values and Challenge Charter.
  • To use the charter as a force for good, inspiring colleagues and the wider company to achieve our collective best.
  • You will be working with Service Managers to achieve Regulatory compliance as a minimum, implementing a ‘eyes wide open’ culture of continuous quality improvement and with support achieve budgetary compliance.

 

Who you are:

 

  • An inspirational, outcome driven and committed professional - you will be able to demonstrate continuous improvement in delivering support services.
  • Expertise with RISCA and other relevant external review bodies is essential.
  • Extensive background and experience of working successfully within Regulated environments.
  • An ability to demonstrate evidence of experience in change management across a range of care provisions.
  • Ability to motivate and develop colleagues, sometimes remotely, to ensure you create stable and supported teams where operational members feel engaged and confident in their roles.
  • Able to demonstrate strong performance management capabilities.
