Support Worker

Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

What you’ll be doing:

  • All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning and key working.
  • You will be required to operate hoists. 
  • Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.
  • Epilepsy training will be given.
  • Providing person-centered care.

Who you are:

  • Experience of 1 year minimum working within the care industry is essential.
  • Experience of working with learning disabilities would be preferred but not essential.
  • You have the ability and passion to support our residents with high quality personal care and support their needs and will provide person-centered care.
  • Diploma 2 and above qualification in Health & Social Care would be preferable or you will be willing to undertake it.
