Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Parkview is a 9-bed residential service located in Salford, facing Buile Hill Park. We provide support for adults with complex Mental Health needs, requiring support to live as independently as possible.

Parkview is a large, spacious detached house with spacious communal areas. All communal areas can be accessed by residents along with their relatives and friends.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting individuals with their personal, physical, and emotional needs throughout the night.
  • Completion of nightly duties, including domestic and administrative tasks.
  • Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
  • Undertaking training online and face-to-face where necessary.
  • Personal care.
  • Alongside days and evenings, Waking nights, weekends, and Bank holiday working is required within the shift pattern,

Who you are:

  • Shifts can change to suit the needs of the people we support, so flexibility is a must.
  • The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
  • Flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Motivated and a team player.
  • Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with mental health needs is preferred but not essential.
