We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Manager to join our Digital and Customer Communications team for 12 months. As a Digital Manager you will be responsible for development, maintenance and optimisation of the principality.co.uk website and related technologies in support of strategic objectives, playing a pivotal role embedding digital capability in PBS influencing plans and measurable outcomes.

Our Digital Manager will be working closely with teammates in martech, UX, analytics, content and communications, stakeholders and third-party partners, you will support the Senior Digital Manager in developing the product roadmap for the Digital Experience Platform to deliver improvements grounded in colleague and customer user insights and data.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development, maintenance and optimisation of digital technologies. 
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver improvements grounded in colleague and customer user insights and data. 
  • Developing the product roadmap for the Digital Experience Platform 
  • Planning and prioritise a blended workstack for the team. 
  • Developing and overseeing a framework for quality control of content ensuring that appropriate approvals have been obtained and standards adhered to. 
  • Ensuring high quality requirement specifications, documentation, deployment and testing plans for releases 
  • Be a Super User of the new Digital Platform with advanced knowledge of its technical capabilities 
  • Provide coaching, consultancy and support to an extensive network of editors and marketers in creating the optimal solutions 

 

Key Skills:

  • Commercially astute 
  • Have a passion for transforming customer outcomes whilst making the complex clear. 
  • Experienced in managing and development marketing technologies. 
  • Proficient in using data and analytics to drive decisions 
  • Experienced in leading consultancy and support to colleagues and an internal network of editors and marketers encouraging self-service and best-practice
  • Experienced blending in-house teams and third parties to deliver. 
  • Manage the technical and non-technical backlog, liaising with representatives across the digital team to ensure on going optimisation and development at the highest quality
  • Plan and prioritise a blended workstack of publishing, fixes and improvements
  • Monitor, manage and improve the user experience, technical SEO and operational performance of the website
