- Identifying and removing impediments to keep teams moving smoothly.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Encouraging cross-team communication across engineering, product, and operations.
- Tracking and communicating delivery progress using metrics like velocity and burndown charts.
- Promoting Agile values and principles across teams and stakeholders.
- Supporting the wider Agile community at SIS through coaching and recommending best practices.
What Success Looks Like
- High-performing, engaged development teams.
- Predictable, transparent delivery outcomes.
- Demonstrable improvements in Agile ways of working.
- Strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master within software development environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks—Scrum and Kanban in particular.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of modern engineering practices like CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud‑native delivery.
- Experience working with Java-based applications and Azure cloud services (nice to have).
