Service: Children’s Residential Home – Douglas, Isle of Man
Relocation Package of £3000
Starting salary of £26,545, rising to £27,107 upon successful completion of probationary period and mandatory training, raising incrementally up to £29,939 based on performance
Sleep-ins: £50 / Overtime and Bank holidays paid time and half
Working Hours: 40 hours per week on a 7 day rota

About the Role
As a practitioner in the specialist single occupancy home, you will have the opportunity to make a difference to children, young people & families. Our aim is to offer the opportunity for change through a focus on health, social, emotional and educational needs to promote positive outcomes. This role will enable you to provide interventions directly to the young person and their family to support change. This is a great career opportunity for anyone who wants to develop their knowledge and skill base working in a trauma informed environment and helping the young person to move on in life.
Applicants should have

- flexibility to undertake shift work including weekends, bank holidays and with notice, occasional sleep-ins.
- Ability and willingness to commute to different locations within the Isle of Man

Recruitment Process
At St Christopher’s we are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people in our care. During the recruitment process you will be expected to complete an online application form (cv’s are not permitted) to ensure we capture essential information to meet legislation, best practice and vetting requirements.
Applicants will ideally already be on the DBS Update Service; if this is not the case St Christopher's will carry out a DBS (police) check prior to starting.
