Personal Assistant (Support Worker)
Job Purpose
Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.
Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Job Details
We are looking for a male* Personal Assistant who is able to support a gentleman with his move to Edinburgh from Fife in the near future, that is reliable and flexible and who shares his interests and wants to be part of a great team.
Full time and part time hours with the occasional respite (overnight) are needed for this team
A driving license is essential for this position.

We are looking for someone to join a team who work really well together and will be starting on the journey to become self -organised. They take responsibility for their own rotas and work in a very person centred way alongside this man and his family
The man you will work alongside has a varied and interesting week. He enjoys social activities, swimming, cycling, all music (gigs and discos) and being out and about with his team.
He has close family support and with the right support happy to try new activities.
