What You Will Do

As a Store Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the running and commercial performance of our store. Working alongside the Store Manager and the sales team, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of all in-store processes aimed at maximising sales. This includes managing the customer welcome process, ensuring accurate merchandising, stock control, and maintaining precise financial procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Welcome Process: Warmly greet customers, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a positive initial experience.

Merchandising: Ensure that products are displayed according to company guidelines to attract and engage customers.

Stock Control: Oversee stock management, including regular stocktakes, maintaining accurate stock profiles, and ensuring timely stock replenishment.

Financial Procedures: Manage cash operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and liaise with the Accounts and Retail Operations Manager on financial processes.

Customer Service: Address customer queries and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.

Staff Support: Assist the Store Manager with staff recruitment, training, and management, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage security issues within the store.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

Proven retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, or bridalwear.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Capable of making informed decisions under pressure and working independently.
