Receptionist - Bury St Edmunds
Are you a people person with a passion for creating a warm and professional first impression? We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our Front of House team in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a varied, client-facing role where you’ll be at the heart of our front of house operations - greeting visitors, coordinating meetings and ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day.
The Role
- Opening and closing reception daily
- Welcoming clients and visitors, managing sign-in procedures
- Keeping the reception area clean and inviting
- Preparing and serving refreshments for meetings
- Assisting with card payments and onboarding support
- Certifying ID and documents
- Handling post, faxes, and cheque processing
- Managing meeting room bookings and catering
- Booking couriers and taxis
- Supporting reprographics and occasional archiving
Skills and Experience
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Calm, organised and great at multitasking
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Experience in front-of-house or office services (ideally in a professional setting)
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office & Outlook – training provided)
- Bonus skills: First Aid, Health & Safety or Fire Warden training
