Job type: Permanent 40hrs (Some shift work required)

What you’ll be doing

As a security Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the security department.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests in line with current legislation and company guidance, ensuring all guests receive the very best experience and customer service with standards that continuously improve.

• You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the existing security team to enhance our guests' experience through a hands-on approach where required and team engagement
• Manage the security function, maximising opportunities for greater efficiency and safety.
• Create rotas in line with budgets to ensure the security team are in the right place at the right time.
• Ensure a professional and effective control of site entrances and complex areas utilising the current technologies and controls.

 And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on most bank holidays, some evenings and weekends too. However, as Security Manager you will be organising your rota’s so we can also take a balanced view to ensure your home and work life are balanced.

We are currently looking for a Security Manager to join our team. This is not a typical Security Managers role. It’s much better! Based on park at Tattershall Lakes, you will be keeping our holiday makers feeling secure, as well as helping them out when they need assistance.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

This is a great role for the right person, and we will provide full training and induction, so lots of experience is not as important as the right attitude. The only ‘must-haves’ are.

• An SIA (Security Industry Association) licence preferred or willing to obtain within agreed time frame for successful applicant
• Full manual driving licence
• Customer service skills – we want someone who is friendly and cheerful to our guests.
• Experience in leading a team, including engaging with other departments
