Service Charge & Management Accountant – Maternity Cover

What we need in a nutshell

We’re looking for a Service Charge & Management Accountant to join our Central Support Finance team on a maternity cover basis.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in managing the financial processes behind our Owners’ services, including utilities, rates, ground rent, amenity and service charges. You’ll help make sure we accurately calculate and report the charges billed to our Owners, while providing financial support and guidance to our Parks and Owners’ teams.

You’ll also be a key part of the wider Management Accounts team, supporting month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting. Accuracy, organisation and a keen eye for detail will be essential, as you’ll be working across a range of owner-related income and recharge processes.

Who are we?

We’re an ambitious bunch and have huge aspirations. We’ve spent the last 17 years shaking up the Great British Holiday and have no intention of stopping yet! With 27 locations across the UK, we are passionate about providing excellent experiences to our guests and colleagues. Whether that be on the Cornish Coastline or up in Scotland, there’s something for everyone.

  • Ensure Owner billing and income are accurately reflected in the management accounts through a robust month-end process.
  • Take ownership of financial reporting around Owner income, including month-end processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support a strong culture of balance sheet discipline, ensuring reconciliations are completed regularly and any actions are followed through.
  • Support our Parks and Owners’ teams with financial queries and guidance, helping us deliver an amazing experience for our Owners.
  • Support the wider Management Accounts team with month-end processing, reconciliations and other ad hoc activities when required.
  • Assist with year-end audit requirements relating to Owner income.
  • Work with Finance Managers and the Financial Controller to help the Finance team keep up with business demands.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and look for opportunities to develop within the role.

Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting information clearly and concisely to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate, high-quality work to tight deadlines.
