Location: Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Lincolnshire (LN4 6LR)

Salary: £26,000

Job type: Permanent 40hrs (Some shift work required)

What we are looking for

We are currently looking for an Assistant Security Manager to join our team. This is not a typical security role. It’s much better! Based on park at Tattershall Lakes, you will be keeping our holiday makers feeling secure, as well as helping them out when they need assistance.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests in line with current legislation and company guidance, ensuring all guests receive the very best experience and customer service with standards that continuously improve.

• Welcoming guests into our park at the entrance and monitoring vehicles that wish to gain access
• Patrolling the park by foot and vehicle, ensuring the perimeters are secure and all is well within the park
• Door duties, checking the passes of guests using the entertainment complex, and checking fishing tickets for the lakes.
• Helping guests with out-of-hours problems and delivering gas on the rare occasion a guest may have run out.
• Dealing with any conflict/security/service-related issues and taking a proactive approach wherever possible.
• Develop the existing security team to enhance our guests' experience through a hands-on approach where required and team engagement. Ensure a professional and effective control of site entrances and complex areas utilising the current technologies and controls.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on most bank holidays, some evenings and weekends too.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

This is a great role for the right person, and we will provide full training and induction, so lots of experience is not as important as the right attitude. The only ‘must-haves’ are.

• An SIA (Security Industry Association) licence
• Full manual driving licence
• Customer service skills – we want someone who is friendly and cheerful to our guests.
• Experience in leading a team, including engaging with other departments
