37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30-4.30pm (1 hour for lunch). 

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Animal Management to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in animal science and a commitment to delivering high-quality education. We are proud to offer hands-on learning through our practical animal unit, and we are looking for someone who can make full use of this facility to enhance the student experience and bring learning to life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and tutorials, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback. You will also contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes, while building and maintaining valuable industry links to enrich the learning journey. Additionally, you will play an active role in student recruitment and promotional events.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree in one of the following, Animal Science, Animal Management, Zoology, Veterinary Nursing, Biology (with an animal focus), or a related field. A teaching qualification is required, or you should be working towards one. You should have at least one year of teaching or training experience, along with relevant industry experience in the animal care or science sector. Strong communication skills and effective classroom management are essential for this role.
