£24,029 Per Annum (actual salary for 18.5 hours is £12,014.50 pro rata)
18.5 Hours Per Week (weekdays, evenings and weekends on a rota basis)

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Fitness Instructor within our Commercial Sports Department. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be at the heart of our fitness community, delivering high-quality services to students, staff, and external members.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Leading group fitness classes and designing tailored fitness programmes.
- Supporting gym members through inductions and ongoing engagement.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming fitness environment.
- Collaborating with operational teams to ensure smooth facility setup and usage.
- Using leisure management software to manage bookings, memberships, and fitness services.
- Acting as a key point of contact for gym users, providing excellent customer service and promoting a culture of wellbeing.
Bishop Burton Sport will be launching not one, not two, but three news gyms in January 2026. A performance gym to meet the needs of our performance academies and professional club partners. A lifestyle gym that combines a relaxed, supportive atmosphere with facilities tailored to both students and public members. An educational gym space designed to support academic practical delivery in a classroom environment.
