Lecturer in Equine ( Higher Education)
£32,407 Per Annum
37 Hour Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (1 hour for lunch)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced individual to join our Higher Education team as a Lecturer in Equine.
You will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across our degree-level provision, supporting students to achieve positive outcomes and progress into graduate employment within the equine sector. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum, participate in quality assurance processes, and play an active role in maintaining an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
You will hold a degree in an equine-related discipline and have relevant industry experience. A teaching qualification is desirable, although support will be provided to achieve this if required.
You could currently be working within the equine sector or education, applying your expertise in a professional setting. This may include:
- Delivering teaching or training in equine science, coaching, performance or management
- Working within the equine industry, such as riding centres, competition yards, coaching or business environments
- Supporting learner or trainee development through mentoring or practical instruction
- Contributing to curriculum delivery, research or industry-led projects
- Engaging with employers and professional networks to maintain current, industry-relevant knowledge
