Tutors for London History Walks
Location: Covent Garden, London
Salary: £38.72 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time
Hours of Work: Variable depending on course programming
About the role
Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic Tutor with experience of delivering London History walks around the city of London and/or walks-based courses? Then why not join our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rated College, helping to bring together people across London and beyond, and to enrich lives through learning and discovery.
We are looking for Tutors to deliver daytime and/or weekend face-to-face London History walks or walks-based courses. You’ll be a key contributor to our History, Politics, Philosophy and Science department, where our renowned high-quality courses focus on inspiring students to explore and develop their knowledge, understanding and critical faculties. You will be part of a supportive team and receive plenty of opportunities for developing your teaching practice in ways that centre learning.

- A blue-badge qualification (for walks).
- Experience of guiding groups of adults of mixed ability in group settings.
- Demonstrable experience of teaching your subject to adults or groups of adults.
- Have up to date knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest for the subject.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A teaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
