About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for educational professionals who have an interest, experience and passion in teaching courses in one or more of the following areas below. If you are a dynamic education professional and have a passion for engaging with students and curating a course(s) exploring these key themes then we would like to hear from you!

  • Geology – daytime and/or weekend face-to-face courses.
  • Palaeontology – daytime and/or weekend face-to-face courses.
  • London nature walks – daytime and/or weekend face-to-face walks or walks-based course/s.

You’ll be a key contributor to our History, Politics, Philosophy and Science department, where our renowned high-quality courses focus on inspiring students to explore and develop their knowledge, understanding and critical faculties. You will be part of a supportive team and receive plenty of opportunities for developing your teaching practice in ways that centre learning.

  • Have up to date knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest for the subject.
  • Demonstrable experience of teaching your subject to adults or groups of adults.
  • Experience of guiding groups of adults of mixed ability in group settings (for walks).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A teaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
