Job description
This full-time role represents a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with a recognised brand in the business-to-business professional services market. We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to develop and deliver marketing projects aligned to the firm’s strategy.
This role reports to the National Marketing Manager and is based in London with opportunities for remote and agile working. The ideal candidate will be required to be in the London office minimum two days a week. Candidates will need a strong business to business professional services marketing background, preferably within accountancy. This role would suit someone who is comfortable working across all marketing areas, can work to tight deadlines and is delivery focused. Ideally, the candidate will be familiar with working in a consultative environment and have a ‘can do’ approach.
This role will be primarily focused on supporting Crowe’s Tax service line stream. Our national tax practice consists of Corporate Tax, VAT and Customs Duty (including VAT for Non-Profits), Tax Resolutions, Tax for Private Clients, Workforce Advisory and Global Mobility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of activities related to marketing plans to build relationships, raise reputation and increase recognition.
- Develop an awareness and understanding of the tax landscape and specific responsibility for promoting multiple tax services with a view to:
- work with the National Marketing Manager to collaborate with sector teams to ensure tax services are implemented in sector based marketing plans
- write compelling, benefit led messaging for communications and marketing material
- provide prompts and direction to the PR team on media comment and social media campaigns relating to marketing priorities identified in each marketing plan
- suggest awards that may be relevant for teams and have an input in drafting award submissions
- conduct tax market research and analysis (client and competitor intelligence)
- edit and curate content for the website and write and generate new material to ensure it remains up to date
- write about successes to include in internal communications.
- Assist the development and delivery of comprehensive marketing projects which align with sector and service line marketing plans. Projects will include activities across the full marketing mix.

- Support across all marketing streams if/when needed, but to also feed in tax services nationally.
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships e.g. sharing marketing knowledge and managing expectations.
- Help to develop effective measurements for evaluating all marketing activities and improvement performance measures.
- Stewardship of data and assist in developing target groups through segmentation via CRM for effective external communications.
- Assist in the production and updating of brochures/digital collateral and other core marketing materials e.g. editing, proofing, collation of data.
- Help to develop effective measurements for evaluating all marketing activities and improvement performance measures.
- Ensure website content is kept up to date and work with the web team to monitor performance.
- Raise internal visibility of teams within the firm in order to increase awareness of key team wins, issues and marketing activities.
- To work with the regional Clients and Markets teams to drive local business development. Identify cross sector and industry business development opportunities.
- Working with the Clients & Markets team/partners to support sector proposals and the client care programme.
- Effectively manage third party relationships ensuring delivery against KPI’s.
- Act as a brand guardian and ensure consistency in the development of all marketing collateral.
Skills
- Experience implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Experience delivering virtual and in-person events. Knowledge of ON24 and/or Microsoft Teams is preferable.
- Ability to work both reactively and proactively
- Efficient time management and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good communicator at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately obtain and convert technical content into compelling copy
- Works well in a team and on their own
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- CRM experience (preferably InterAction)
- HMTL email platform experience (preferably Concep)
- Knowledge and application of Microsoft office
Qualifications
- Degree level education
- Must have a marketing related degree or be CIM qualified
- Must have previous professional services experience preferably in accountancy
