The Opportunity

As the industry placement officer you will coordinate with early years and school settings to arrange placements for our students. As well as co-ordination, planning and employer engagement, you may be required to undertake student visits to industry placements too.

You will act as the main point of contact for employers and students for all industry related queries provide support, advice and guidance when arranging student’s placements, including completing of relevant paperwork and DBS requirements.

Your role also involves ensuring risk assessments and other checks are in place and maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work placement, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

You will work closely with the early years team including teachers and assessors to ensure students are placed in a timely way to meet deadlines and mandatory qualification requirements.

 

About you

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable and will be able to motivate and inspire confidence in others.  Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential.

We are looking for applicants who hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years, as well as having at least Level 2 (GCSE pass equivalent) in English and Maths. A full, clean driving license is also essential for this role.
