Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a Sessional Teacher of Riding – Equine at our beautiful Broomfield Hall campus. You’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of ‘Improve Your Riding’ sessions. The Opportunity
You’ll effectively deliver riding tuition to ‘Improve Your Riding’ evening sessions ensuring that you maintain accurate records of the students’ and clients’ progress. You’ll ensure the safety of our students and clients by promoting safe riding practices and carrying out effective day to day management of riding sessions. This role is 2 hours per week on a Tuesday evening, with scope for additional hours.

About You
You’ll have thorough knowledge of all areas of equestrianism, including the demands of the equine industry and health and safety. You’ll have previous teaching experience and equine experience within the industry. It is essential that you possess a BHS Stage 2 Teach qualification and a Frist Aid qualification and hold the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of students and clients.
