Based: Hybrid with regular attendance at our London Office (near Old Street)

  • Hours: Full time - 35 hours/week
  • Salary Range: £46,000 to £50,000 salary commensurate with experience

 About the Role

The Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) are seeking an experienced professional to help deliver inclusive environments. The role will require you to undertake access audits of existing buildings and design appraisal reviews of new developments or refurbishment projects, providing advice and recommendation based on current regulations and good practice. This is a great opportunity to work within a renowned consultancy with the opportunity to work on a variety of access projects.

About You

You are someone who is interested and knowledgeable in accessibility and inclusive design, looking to work in a leading company. The successful candidate will be passionate about what they do, and willing to promote our service.

You will be organised, proactive and be a confident user of Microsoft programs. You will need to know how to read and interpret architectural plans and have a working knowledge of current policies, Building Regulations and good practice guidance such as BS 8300 and the Wheelchair Housing Design Guide.
