We are excited to announce a position for a Transitions Officer! This vital role supports NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) learners in a specialised program aimed at re-engaging young people facing educational barriers. You will help them build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve recognised qualifications, allowing them to transition to vocational programs, apprenticeships, employment, or further education within a year.
 
Working closely with curriculum teams, career advisors, employers, and families, you will act as a trusted advocate, focusing on individual strengths and needs to remove barriers to progression. You will facilitate unique transition experiences and strengthen connections with employers and external agencies while monitoring learner progress and sharing best practices with colleagues.
 
This position is crucial for providing young people with a second chance after challenges in traditional education. By helping them reconnect with learning and gain meaningful qualifications, you will empower them to pursue sustainable education or employment opportunities.
