Join Our Group Internal Audit Team!
We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the Group to deliver audits from the core internal audit plan.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead audits across the Group, ensuring compliance with standards and improving internal controls. The role will contribute to the wider work of the Group Internal Audit department and its overall annual plan, designed to provide independent assurance to the Board through the Audit & Risk Committee.
The role includes:
• Leading the delivery of thematic internal audit engagements (from planning through to fieldwork and reporting), identifying areas of risk and making recommendations to improve the Group’s system of internal control
• Supporting operating company audits across the Group’s various business, ensuring consistency of approach
• Undertaking data interrogation analysis and reviews
• Assist in the delivery of the Group’s whistleblowing provision
• Providing support to the Group’s processes of risk management and internal control
What You Need:
• Professional audit qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMIIA, CIA)
• Experience in internal audit (construction sector preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel across the UK
