As a subject matter expert in HR generalist practice, you will support managers with employee relations, policy implementation and compliance, ensuring consistent, legally robust and values-led people management aligned to regulatory standards.

You will make a real difference to the employee experience, whether through direct conversations or by guiding managers to achieve the best outcomes for their teams.

  • Support managers in applying policies consistently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation suitable for audit, inspection and compliance
  • Coordinate and respond to Subject Access Requests
  • Support onboarding processes and the wider employee lifecycle
  • Liaise with payroll regarding queries and contractual changes
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Produce KPI reports and utilise systems such as SelectHR
  • Support organisational change and acquisition activities
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality people management

About you

  • Proven experience in a HR Advisor role, preferably in Health & Social Care or a regulated environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently
  • Confident advising and influencing managers at all levels
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) or relevant HR degree
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to meet business requirements

What you’ll get

  • Salary: £35,000 per annum
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Flexible working: office-based, home-based or hybrid patterns to suit
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • A confidential, supportive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), available 24/7
  • Paid learning and development opportunities so we can invest in your future.
  • Access to attractive and exclusive employee benefits, including savings on shopping, leisure and household expenses
  • A generous referral scheme
