Pay Scale: Starting at £13.12 per hour, rising to £13.29 after probation. Opportunity to progress to £14.00 at your own pace.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Founders House - a unique part of Central Area Services at Scottish Autism. Founders House focuses on supporting autistic adults with a wide range of needs, including mobility and health needs.

 

As a team member, you’ll work closely with autistic adults, their families, and the wider team to create a relaxed and supportive environment that prioritises their safety and well-being while promoting rest and comfort.

Experience

Experience in social care is desirable but not essential—we’re looking for individuals who share our core values: Collaboration, Compassion, Change Makers, and Contribution.

 

Comprehensive autism-specific training is provided.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalised support plans.
  • Build positive relationships with people, their families and the wider team.
  • Collaborate with the person, families, health professionals, and stakeholders to support the person’s goals and aspirations.
