Cyber Security Portfolio Manager

Purpose of the Role

Decide on strategy for our Cyber Security Portfolio in consultation with the SolutionsPT Board

Implementation of Strategy to achieve goals

Guidance, e.g. campaigns etc, for SolutionsPT central Marketing and overall leadership of the Cyber Security demand generation function

Strategic customer and opportunity management as appropriate

Business Management; setting pricing policy, guidance documentation, management reporting et al

Recruiting of personnel and maintenance of a high functioning team

Liaison with Suppliers on sales and commercial product management matters in cooperation with SolutionsPT Board and SolutionsPT Central functions

Support of central functions and inter-departmental coordination at SolutionsPT

To achieve a score of 4.2 on Tinypulse (the internal staff satisfaction tool)

To ensure succession plans are in place at all levels (where suitable as team grows)

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Business management of the cyber portfolio directly and through inter-departmental coordination and stakeholder management including planning and plan execution
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Maintains sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors proposing changes to pricing model and the product mix as required.
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Maintains team staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Direct and indirect sales activity as required by plan
  • Maintains staff work results by counselling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional, management and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Assists the overall organisation to achieve its goals as an active, contributing member of the sales function and sales management group.
  • Coordination with marketing to achieve the overall demand generation requirements for the Cyber Portfolio.

·         Degree Level Academic qualification or equivalent applied knowledge

·         B2B Sales Qualification or Training Completion

·         MBA or combination of equivalent qualification + experience

Specific Knowledge & Experience – What they need to know

 

·         Two or more years’ experience as a manager (Essential)

·         Three to five years of experience in a B2B commercial environment (Essential)

·         Knowledge of the Industrial Software market AND/OR

·         Knowledge of OT Cyber Security (Desireablel)

·         Experience working at a Software Reseller (Desirable)

·         Experience selling Cyber Security Software (Desirable)
