Job Purpose
Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.
Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Job Details
We are looking for part time (16h or 20h contract) Personal Assistants to work with a young lady and support her to fully settle into her own tenancy in Craigmillar.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the service alongside the young lady and her family.
A full driving licence is essential for this position
About this opportunity
We are looking for Personal Assistants to work with a young lady, who recently moved into her own house in Craigmillar. This is an exciting opportunity to support this young woman in fully settling into her home with the assistance of her dedicated team.
She likes to be active in her local community enjoying activities including swimming, cycling and trampolining.
She is looking for staff who have a sense of humour but who can also hold boundaries when needed. She wants resilient team members who understand that people can communicate through their behaviours when stressed or distressed, but with the right support at the right time these instances can be reduced.
