What’s on offer:
Hourly Rate: £13.21 plus holiday pay calculated at 15.55% (equivalent of 35 days paid leave per year)
Duration: Fixed Term Contract starting in Term 3 2025 and working throughout the academic year 2025/2026 until 4th July 2026 (subject to a 6-month probationary period)
Hours: You will be expected to work an average of 2 shifts a week (an average of 10-12 hours a week) throughout term time; although we cannot guarantee these hours. Flexibility of working patterns from Monday to Sunday which includes daytime and evening work, general working hours between 2.45pm to 2am. Occasional vacation work available.
Location: Warwick Students’ Union, Coventry. Occasional off site working is required.

What’s the role?
Working in the Terrace Bar and Venue Bars as an F&B Team Leader, you will be required to lead a team of bars assistants to ensure a high standard of service is provided to customers, food and drinks are served in an efficient manner and a safe, clean working environment is maintained.
Terrace Bar
With a lovely terrace overlooking the piazza, the Terrace Bar is a great place to enjoy drinks with friends and dance the night away at our Friday night event, Juicy. We are also hosting a twice-termly LGBTQUIA+ night, Glow. And even better, come along during Bus Stop - the warmest place to wait for your bus home - every day from 5-8 p.m. for discounts on a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver a high level of service in a fast paced catering setting. You should have experience of achieving and maintaining high levels of health, safety and cleanliness in this environment to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience.
You should be able to demonstrate initiative and good verbal communication whilst overseeing the Bars Assistant Team to ensure the successful delivery of food and drinks service and the safe operation of our Outlets during our day to day operations.
