Who are we?
Warwick Students’ Union is a unique blend of business, charity, and membership organisation – and an incredibly vibrant place to work.

We’re proudly independent and professionally run, but what sets us apart is our purpose: empowering students to lead, inspire change, and unlock their full potential. Our passionate and talented team work alongside elected student leaders to drive real impact and create unforgettable experiences.

Part of a national network of over 550 Students’ Unions, with over 25,000 members, more than 250 societies, 70 sports clubs, and hundreds of elected reps, we’re one of the most dynamic and exciting students’ unions in the UK.

What’s the job?
Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team and reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing design support across the whole of the Students’ Union.

You'll work on a wide variety of exciting projects, developing visual content across both print and digital platforms. From eye-catching logos and publications to posters, flyers, social media graphics, web banners, digital screens, and promotional items - you'll be at the heart of how we visually connect with our student community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative solutions from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with our brand guidelines
  • Providing graphic design support across the Students’ Union using Adobe CC packages
  • Creating new designs and updating existing artwork for both print and digital platforms
  • Keeping your manager updated on project progress through clear and effective communication
  • Supervising and coaching our part-time Junior Designer

Who you are:
A creative all-rounder who knows how to take a brief and run with it - from the spark of an idea to a polished final design. You’ve got a great eye for detail, a good head for brand consistency, and you understand how to make visuals that don’t just look great but really work.

You bring energy, fresh ideas, and love working as part of a collaborative team. Whether it’s shaping a campaign or juggling multiple design requests, you love a challenge and thrive in a busy, fast moving environment.

You’ll also supervise our Junior Designer - offering guidance, sharing your skills, and helping them develop. We’re looking for someone who’s not just a great designer, but also a team player and mentor.

If you’ve got creative flair, commercial awareness, and a passion for design across print and digital, this is your chance to shine in a fun, supportive, and a genuinely rewarding setting.

Why apply?
We’re the opposite of corporate. At Warwick SU, you’ll join a team of passionate individuals who genuinely care about making a difference in a vibrant, unconventional environment. Every day brings something new, and your work will have real impact.

In return for your energy and expertise, we offer:

  • A competitive salary for the non-profit sector
  • A contributory defined contribution pension scheme
  • An excellent holiday allowance
  • High-quality equipment to support your creativity (MacBook & high-res monitor)
  • Ongoing professional development tailored to your role
  • Opportunities to get involved beyond the day job - First Aid Training, colleague committees, and ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions are just the beginning

You'll be right at the heart of student life, surrounded by the buzz and excitement that comes from working in a fast-paced, student-focused organisation.

We’re proudly committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities—regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, or disability status. If you share our values and want to make a difference, you’ll fit right in.
