Full‑time | 4‑Week Holiday Cover (End of April 2026)

🏡 About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and resilient Live‑In Awake Night Carer to support a female client in her own home in Hove. This is a 4‑week holiday cover role starting at the end of April 2026, working in partnership with a second carer to ensure consistent, person‑centred support.
The client has Vascular Dementia and experiences symptoms such as confusion, distress, and behaviours that can sometimes be challenging. Because of this, we are seeking someone with a strong understanding of dementia and a calm, reassuring approach.
This is an awake night position, with working hours approximately 5:00pm – 8:00am (final timings will be agreed with the second carer). The client frequently wakes during the night and requires:
- Support with personal care (including pad changes)
- Reassurance, emotional support, and companionship
- Medication administration and ordering
- Assistance with drinks and simple meal preparation
You’ll be supported throughout by our award‑winning Brighton branch team, with access to training and ongoing professional development.

- Drivers: Full UK driving licence + access to a car (preferred)
- Non‑drivers: Confident using public transport
