Senior Officer, Subsidy Control (ICF213)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, working 35 hours per week until 31 March 2026. (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £36,987 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: The Hive, Manchester (The role will be based in Manchester; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
Based within the Funding Programmes team in the Investment Centre, the Senior Officer, Subsidy control will support Arts Council England to manage compliance with the Subsidy Control Act 2022.
Thie role includes responsibility for delivering ongoing operational processes managing compliance for our open and recurring funding programmes such as National Lottery Project Grants, Developing Your Creative Practice, National Portfolio Investment and Music Hub Investment. It also involves designing and delivering compliance processes for our discrete or bespoke funding opportunities and investment (for example, Creative Foundations Fund and Museum Renewal Fund).
The postholder will also work closely with colleagues in other Investment Centre teams, with Arts Council Area and Policy colleagues at all levels and with external partners and stakeholders (including Departments for Culture, Media and Sport, Business and Trade and the Competition and Markets Authority) as required.
