Lecturer in Animal Management

Full Time 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

£27,981 - £32,407 Depending on Qualifications and Experience

Your real-world expertise is invaluable, bringing practical insight and current industry knowledge into the classroom that our students can learn from every day.

In this role you'll deliver engaging teaching across our Animal Management curriculum, with a particular focus on Level 1 learners. These students are often beginning their educational journey and are full of potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, helping them build confidence, develop practical skills and discover a passion for the animal industry. Watching students grow from their first day into confident, capable learners is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role.

As a Group Tutor, you'll also have the opportunity to support a designated group of students throughout their time at college. You'll act as a mentor, offering guidance, celebrating achievements and helping learners overcome challenges, ensuring they feel supported both academically and personally.

You could currently be:

• Teaching Animal Management or a related subject in Further or Higher Education.
• Working in industry within animal care, veterinary nursing, zoology, conservation or animal welfare and looking for a new challenge where you can pass on your expertise.
• Seeking a career where you can combine your practical knowledge with inspiring the next generation of professionals.
