Lecturer in Animal Management
Full Time 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
£27,981 - £32,407 Depending on Qualifications and Experience

In this role you'll deliver engaging teaching across our Animal Management curriculum, with a particular focus on Level 1 learners. These students are often beginning their educational journey and are full of potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, helping them build confidence, develop practical skills and discover a passion for the animal industry. Watching students grow from their first day into confident, capable learners is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role.
As a Group Tutor, you'll also have the opportunity to support a designated group of students throughout their time at college. You'll act as a mentor, offering guidance, celebrating achievements and helping learners overcome challenges, ensuring they feel supported both academically and personally.
You could currently be:
- Teaching Animal Management or a related subject in Further or Higher Education.
- Working in industry within animal care, veterinary nursing, zoology, conservation or animal welfare and looking for a new challenge where you can pass on your expertise.
- Seeking a career where you can combine your practical knowledge with inspiring the next generation of professionals.
