Are you energetic, practical, and passionate about sport? We’re looking for a Sports Operative who thrives in a busy sports environment — someone who keeps facilities clean and safe, supports gym users, sets up equipment, and delivers great customer service.

You might currently be working in a gym or leisure centre, supporting PE or sports clubs, handling memberships and enquiries, or helping with match days and facility checks.

You could be based in a school, college, fitness studio, community sports hub, or multi-use sports facility and now be ready for your next step.

Bishop Burton Sport will be launching not one, not two, but three news gyms in January 2026. A performance gym to meet the needs of our performance academies and professional club partners. A lifestyle gym that combines a relaxed, supportive atmosphere with facilities tailored to both students and public members. An educational gym space designed to support academic practical delivery in a classroom environment.

If you’re looking for a full-time, active, and varied role within a dynamic sports team, join us at Bishop Burton College and help deliver an outstanding sport and fitness experience.
