£27,432 - £31,771 Per Annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30-4.30pm (1 hour for lunch).
We are looking for an inspiring and committed individual to join our academic team as a Lecturer in Health and Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic department that plays a key role in preparing students for meaningful careers in health and care sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive teaching across a variety of units within the Health and Social Care curriculum. Your duties will include planning and delivering lessons, providing guidance and support to students, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll also play a vital role in curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
A relevant degree and teaching qualification (or significant progress toward one) are essential. You’ll bring at least one year of teaching or training experience, along with a passion for education and a background in health or social care. Your ability to connect with students, maintain high standards, and bring real-world knowledge into the classroom will be key to your success.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, confident in managing a classroom environment, and skilled in using digital learning technologies. A knowledge of safeguarding and child protection is essential, as is a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and respect.
You will also be expected to contribute to wider college activities, including marketing events and the development of links with employers to enhance student learning and employability.
