£28,869 Per Annum.
Are you passionate about animal welfare, education, and inspiring the next generation of professionals in the field? Bishop Burton College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in Animal Management to join our Animal Science Department.
This full-time role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong academic and professional background in animal management, science, or a related discipline. You will play a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and learning to our students, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their future careers.
As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled sessions, managing assessments, supporting educational visits, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will also involve contributing to curriculum development, engaging with quality assurance processes, and supporting students’ academic progress through regular monitoring and reporting.
In addition to your teaching duties, you’ll work closely with industry partners to enrich the student experience and ensure our curriculum remains responsive and relevant. You will be actively involved in promotional events and initiatives to showcase the college and our courses.
We are looking for someone who is innovative, committed, and flexible — with experience in teaching or training, along with relevant industry experience. A teaching qualification is desirable, but we are happy to consider applicants willing to work towards one.
