Sales and Business Development Manager

37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30-4pm (will include some weekends and evenings).

If so, Bishop Burton College is looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to drive commercial revenue and maximise the potential of our exceptional facilities.

As the Sales and Business Development Manager at Bishop Burton College, you will lead and manage commercial bookings for conferences, accommodation, and events, developing strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and external partners. Your role involves identifying new business opportunities and implementing strategies to increase revenue, collaborating with internal teams to create unique, engaging events that showcase our facilities. You will ensure seamless coordination of events, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and stay ahead of industry trends to contribute effectively to marketing campaigns.

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven sales professional with strong experience in business development, sales, or commercial management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, and be a creative thinker capable of generating innovative event ideas. Proficiency in booking platforms and financial reporting tools is essential for success in this role.
