Events and Communication Coordinator

This role is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract designed to provide comprehensive support to the Party’s policy development work. The role focuses on two areas: 1. Advancing the priorities of the policy programme by providing logistics and events coordination support; and 2. Communications with relevant Programme audiences, including individuals and groups making policy-related submissions, as well as wider audiences to ensure updates are on progress at portfolio and programme levels.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-driven individual who provides genuine support to enable policy development activities and to build engagement. This role requires a deep commitment to advancing the priorities of the policy programme, along with a demonstrated capacity to think critically, adapt swiftly, and communicate well with members, the public and others involved in the programme.

Professional experience and qualifications |
o Proven experience in logistics coordination, travel booking, or event planning. o Proven experience in an externally facing communications role. o Prior political experience not essential however a sound knowledge of public policy and portfolio areas is necessary. |
