Senior Customer Consultant - Llantwit Major (12m FTC)

At the heart of every great branch is a team that makes customers feel welcome, listened to and supported. As a Senior Customer Consultant, you’ll help create that experience every day, supporting our members with care and confidence while helping colleagues develop and succeed.  

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members, making sure they feel welcome, supported and valued, whether they visit us in branch, call us or get in touch online.  

As a Senior Customer Consultant, you will:  

• Welcome and support customers in finding the right financial solutions.  

• Deliver outstanding service that builds trust and long-term relationships.  

• Mentor and support a team of Customer Consultants, helping them grow and develop.  

• Step in for the Branch Manager when needed, contributing to the smooth running of the branch.  

• Supporting customers over the phone and through our digital channels.  

• Ensuring the smooth running of daily branch operations in line with policy and procedures.  

• Staying up to date with internal policies and regulatory requirements.  

• Working collaboratively with your colleagues across the branch network and deliver exceptional service.  

What we’re looking for:  

• A natural people person with strong communication skills.  

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.  

• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, either face-to-face or over the phone.  

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
