🌟 About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and dependable Live‑In Carer to support a female client living in her own home in Saltdean. This is an 8‑week holiday cover position starting at the end of May 2026, with the option to work 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
The client is living with Dementia, experiencing symptoms such as confusion, changes in communication, and behaviours that may sometimes be perceived as challenging. Because of this, we are seeking someone with a good understanding of dementia and the ability to respond with patience, empathy, and calmness.
💙 What You’ll Do
In this live‑in role, you will provide consistent, person‑centred care including:
- Supporting with personal care
- Administering and managing medication
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Offering reassurance, companionship, and emotional support
- Responding calmly to dementia‑related behaviours
- Supporting the client to access her local community
- Promoting dignity, independence, and comfort
You’ll be fully supported by our award‑winning Brighton branch team, with access to structured training and ongoing professional development.
💷 What We Offer
- From £107 per day
- 40p per mile mileage allowance (drivers)
- Free bus pass for non‑drivers
- Full training, shadowing, and induction

- Someone compassionate, patient, and resilient
- Confident supporting someone with dementia
- Calm under pressure and responsive to challenging situations
- Experienced in personal care, meal preparation, and medication support
- Reliable, professional, and committed to high‑quality care
- Able to commit to:
- 8‑week placement, OR
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Drivers: Full UK driving licence + access to a car (preferred)
- Non‑drivers: Confident using public transport
