Are you passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential and ensuring fair access to education? Bishop Burton College is looking for a proactive and organised Access Officer to join our Exams and Access Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within education, examinations, SEND support or student services who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and student-focused environment. You may already be working as an Exams Administrator, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Administrator or within a school or college exams team, and be looking for your next challenge.

Based at our Bishop Burton  you will work closely with the Exams Team to support the coordination and administration of exam access arrangements in line with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and the Equality Act 2010. The role involves liaising with students, parents, curriculum staff and previous educational providers to ensure appropriate support arrangements are in place and that all required evidence and documentation is maintained accurately.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, a high standard of IT ability, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and a strong attention to detail. Experience within an educational setting is essential, alongside the ability to manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially. Knowledge of JCQ regulations, SEND processes or exam administration would be advantageous.
