Full-Time 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm 

Are you an experienced land-based engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a motivated individual with a qualification in Landbased Technology or Engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent), combined with hands-on industry experience and strong sector knowledge. Whether you’re already teaching or new to education, this is your opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers. If you're not yet a qualified teacher, we’ll support you in achieving a teaching qualification while you work. Experience delivering relevant units, using learning technologies, or managing full-time programmes is highly desirable.

As Lecturer and Course Tutor, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of our engineering curriculum. You will lead scheduled teaching sessions, tutorials, and practical workshops, while ensuring a high-quality learning experience that supports student achievement and progression. You’ll also take on the role of Group Tutor, helping manage student morale, discipline, and pastoral care.

The role also involves contributing to course development and quality assurance processes, including course monitoring, assessment, and working closely with employers and awarding bodies. You’ll also support the College’s outreach and promotional activities.
