Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of learners and shaping high‑quality educational programmes? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our team, taking a leading role in delivering outstanding teaching, curriculum development, and student support within your specialist area.

In this rewarding role, you will act as Programme Leader for designated courses, working collaboratively with colleagues to design, deliver and continuously improve engaging learning programmes. You will prepare and deliver high‑quality lessons, create effective learning materials, set and mark assessments, and contribute to examination design. A commitment to supporting students’ progress is essential, including monitoring achievement, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular feedback to help learners reach their full potential.

You will work closely with curriculum managers to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, support student discipline and morale, and ensure all quality assurance processes—such as course reviews and self‑assessment—are fully met. The role also includes developing strong links with industry partners, awarding bodies and external verifiers, ensuring that teaching reflects current sector standards and best practice.

As part of the wider college community, you will participate in marketing activities, open events, and key annual college showcases such as Lambing Sunday and Open Farm Sunday. You will embrace new learning technologies, contribute to curriculum innovation, and engage in ongoing professional development to maintain subject expertise.
