£23,557 Per Annum, £19,140 Actual Salary, Pro Rata for 39 Weeks Per Year
37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm, Friday 8.30-4.30pm, 1 Hour Lunch Break
Are you passionate about supporting young people to gain valuable, real-world experience? Bishop Burton College is looking for a proactive and organised Work Experience Officer to join our Services to Business team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing a network of high-quality work placement opportunities for our students. You will act as a key liaison between the College, employers, and students, ensuring all placements meet statutory requirements and provide a safe, supportive environment for learners to develop essential employability skills.
You will play a vital role in supporting learners before, during and after their placements. This includes preparing documentation, conducting employer visits, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating closely with academic departments to ensure every student is placed in a setting that suits their needs and ambitions.
We are seeking someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong interpersonal communication, and a high level of attention to detail. A background in coordinating placements or working with a diverse range of employers would be an advantage. Applicants must hold GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above), a full UK driving licence.
