Annual Salary £28,869-£31,771 Per Annum
Full-Time 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Are you passionate about sport science and shaping the future of the industry? We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Lecturer in Sport Science, with a focus on Strength and Conditioning, to inspire the next generation of graduates.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Higher Education department committed to excellence in teaching, learning, and student success. You’ll play a vital role in delivering engaging lectures, supporting students' academic journeys, and ensuring their readiness for the graduate market.
As a member of a collaborative and experienced team, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, manage student progression, and embed innovation into your teaching practice. You’ll also be involved in wider departmental responsibilities such as group tutoring, assessment, quality assurance, and contributing to marketing and promotional activities.
The successful candidate will hold a BSc in Sport Science or a related field and ideally a Master’s or PhD. Teaching experience in the subject area and current industry experience in Strength and Conditioning are essential. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential – support will be provided for the right candidate.
