£46,057 Per Annum
37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (1 hour for lunch)
Bishop Burton College is seeking an inspirational and strategic leader to head up our Learning Support provision. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and drive high-quality, inclusive support services for students with additional needs, ensuring every learner has the best chance to thrive.
In this pivotal role, you will:

Lead a dedicated team delivering specialist support for students with diverse and complex needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Work closely with academic teams to embed inclusive teaching practices and ensure support is seamlessly integrated into the learner journey.

Oversee funding arrangements for High Needs students, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and maximising resources to support success.

Champion our SEND provision with local authorities, external stakeholders, and the wider community.
We’re looking for a proven leader with:
-
A degree-level qualification.
- Experience of working successfully with parents, carers and other stakeholders.

Extensive experience supporting students with additional needs and managing diverse teams.

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, high-needs funding, and inclusive education strategies.

Excellent communication skills and the resilience to thrive in a busy, collaborative environment.
