Lecturer in Agriculture
Salary £32,407
37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm, Friday 8.30-4.30pm, 1 Hour Lunch Break
We welcome applications from industry professionals who may currently be working in crop production, agronomy or soil science, as well as those with experience in livestock management or dairy, beef and sheep enterprises. You may also be working within agri-business, consultancy, environmental land management, farm management or wider agricultural operations. We also welcome experienced teachers who may already be working in education and are looking to move to a forward-thinking, specialist land-based college. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and tutorials in agriculture, supporting, mentoring and guiding students to achieve their full potential. You will assess student work, complete progress reviews and maintain accurate data records. You will also develop and maintain valuable employer links to enrich the learner experience, contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes, and participate in promotional events, open days and wider college activities, which may occasionally include evenings and weekends.
