We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced equine professional who is already working within a busy yard, equestrian centre, or training environment and is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in practical, hands-on roles and is currently involved in supporting riders, maintaining yard standards, or delivering equine training within a commercial or educational setting.

Right now, this person is likely working at a livery yard, competition venue, riding school, or college yard where they are trusted to manage daily routines, uphold high standards of horse care, and contribute to the smooth running of the yard. They may already be guiding students, mentoring junior staff, or assisting with the running of equine events. They are confident, organised, and used to working in fast-paced environments where professionalism and teamwork are essential.

In this role, they will become a key member of our Equestrian Centre team, supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for a wide range of equine students. They will play an active part in our extensive events calendar, helping to deliver local, regional, national and international competitions throughout the year. They will guide and motivate students through daily routines, maintain accurate records, and provide high-quality instruction to both learners and commercial clients.

The successful applicant will also contribute to the care, training and ridden development of our College horses, ensuring the yard is maintained to excellent commercial standards at all times. They will stay up to date with industry best practice, promote our equestrian activities — including competitions, Horse Trials and Open Days — and support cross-College events, including some evenings and weekends.

If you are passionate about the equine industry and ready to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Shortlisting for this role will be based solely on the information provided in the application form. CVs will not be considered during the shortlisting process.
