37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30-4.30pm (1 hour for lunch). 

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of sports professionals? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Sport to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with teaching experience and a background in sport to shape the student experience and make a real difference.

As a Lecturer in Sport, you will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of sport-related programmes. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting learners to achieve their potential. You’ll also play a key role as a group tutor, providing pastoral care and academic guidance.

This role offers the chance to work collaboratively within a motivated and supportive department. You will also contribute to curriculum development, employer engagement, and the implementation of new learning technologies to enhance the student journey. The ability to manage data effectively, maintain accurate records, and contribute to course reviews and self-assessment processes is essential.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in a relevant subject and have teaching or training experience, ideally within the sports sector. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of full-time course management, and a proactive, student-centred approach. A teaching qualification is required, or a willingness to work towards achieving one.
